I am new to the world of essential oils.  I have been dabbling in using lavender at bedtime for years, but only the past few months have I been exploring them further.  I get migraines and often find that they are resistant to medicine so it is useful to me that when I use peppermint oil it relieves some of the tension.  So, after discovering my love for lavender and peppermint, I wanted to pursue this further.

Freshen the Air

My go-to blend for almost everything is citrus fresh from Young Living.  I diffuse this blend almost daily.  It is great when you want to freshen up the air whether you have been cooking, or just want to get the staleness out of the air.

Time for Bed

When it is time to go to sleep, I have another diffuser that I keep in my bedroom next to my bed.  When I want to sleep, I diffuse a blend of Stress Away, Copaiba, and Lavender.  Anything with lavender can put me to sleep these days!

Want to Feel Fall

If you want your house to smell like a giant pumpkin spice latte, diffuse a blend of, cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg.

You Need an Immune Boost

When you are just feeling the sickness coming along, diffuse a blend of Thieves, Orange, Lavender, and Lemon.  For specific recipes, I really find that people’s recommendations are not what I want so I just play around with the proportions.

Relief from Springtime Allergies

Diffuse a blend of Peppermint, Lemon, and Lavender

**I am not a medical professional and none of these recommendations am I promising will affect your health in any way.
