My entire state (Massachusetts) has closed down schools for three weeks.  I think this is a responsible decision but being someone that lives alone I worry about keeping myself occupied in my 1000 sq. ft. condo for the next three weeks when I can’t go out in public.

I figure if I’m having this issue there are probably others.  I put together a list of my favorite binge-able Netflix shows to share with you!

Schitt’s Creek TV-MA

This is a hilarious comedy about the Rose family.  When they lose all their money, they have to adjust to a new life living in a trashy motel in a small town that they own.  Each member of the family is unique and hilarious for their own reasons.  There are so many funny situations and one-liners that Schitt’s Creek will keep you laughing for days.

Grey’s Anatomy TV-14

If you haven’t watched Grey’s Anatomy, and you feel like there are just too many seasons for you to get caught up, now is the perfect time.  There may be 15 seasons but you can watch a big chunk of those during your period of social isolation.  Grey’s Anatomy is the story of a group of interns who start out at a major hospital in Seattle.  It is very soapy with wild plotlines, love, lust, affairs, and some pretty interesting medical problems.  It’s been running for so long for a reason!

Love is Blind TV-MA

If you want me to tell you that Love is Blind is not trash TV, you’re going to be out of luck.  It is definitely trash TV.  But, it is the most entertaining and engaging trash TV that I have seen in a long time!  Love is Blind is the story of a bunch of 20 and 30 somethings who have to date without ever seeing the person.  After 10 days of dating, they can choose to propose and if the other person says yes, only then do they get to finally see their match.  After they meet, the cameras follow the couples while they learn to have a life outside the pods.  So good!

Grace and Frankie TV-MA

Grace and Frankie is the hilarious tale of two women in their 70s whose husbands leave them for each other.  They become roommates and eventually business partners.  The woman could not be more opposite of each other.  Frankie an earthy hippie and Grace an uptight prim and proper woman.  They get themselves into some interesting situations and it is highly entertaining.

Don’t F**k With Cats TV-MA

This is the true story of a group of amateur internet detectives.  They are trying to track down a person who could be anywhere in the world and is hurting cats.  As their suspect’s crimes escalate, they get closer and closer to finding him.  I really loved this documentary.  If you like true crime it is well worth the three hours.

What I’m Watching Next

The Five TV-MA

Four kids are playing in the woods when their friend’s brother goes missing, never to be seen again.  20 years later his DNA is found at a crime scene and they need to know what happened.
